Where No Man Has Gone Before

According to the Associated Press, the remains of Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry and his wife Majel will be sent into space next year in a specially built capsule. The capsule will not be on a five year mission, however. According to Celestis, the company which will be conducting the launch, it will eventually enter deep space and never return.

A fitting tribute for the creator of the USS Enterprise.
