Reporting The News

The recession and economy which was constantly reported on is not mentioned too often. It took a back seat to the elections of Iran and the subsequent protests for democracy. During that time, Neda Soltani was killed and died on the streets, wide-eyed. This was the subject of reporting and a horrible Youtube video...for one week. Then Farrah Fawcett died and Neda/Iran/democracy took a back seat. Then Michael Jackson died, and so Farrah is hardly mentioned. Billy who? Mays? Neda who? Farrah who? Too busy talking about Michael.

Until the next big thing comes along.
